Competition closed. See here for Oval cricket tickets.

We hate doing competitions. Sorting through all the entries sucks hours from our life and we always get stressed out that the winners aren’t going to receive their prizes.

This is a good one though.

You could win a pair of tickets for England v India at the Oval on Saturday the 20th of August (day three) and also a goodie bag of Kingfisher and cricket bits. (Pretty sure that’s Kingfisher the beer and cricket the sport, if you’re thinking that sounds a bit grisly.)

To be in with a chance of winning, answer the following question:

Which player top-scored with 110 not out in the 2007 England v India Oval Test?

Send your entries to king@kingcricket.co.uk, subject ‘Oval tickets’. The competition closes at the end of Sunday July 3rd and the winning name will be plucked from a Tesco carrier bag at some point that week.

We were also asked to say that we have teamed up with Kingfisher Beer for this, so that’s what’s happening in this last sentence.

  1. You are endorsing brands now? Pretty soon this site will be renamed ‘Kingfisher King Cricket’. We will talk about it in the ‘lesbianporn101.com Comments section’.

  2. Was it WG Grace’s brother EM? I remember he obtained an appreciably decent average at The Oval.

    1. We didn’t get anything for mentioning those brands.

We’ll probably get sent some carrier bags.

  3. Looking up the scorecard to discover how wrong my first guess was (and I went to the game) brings back so many memories. I watched Jaffar and thought he was awesome. The everyone else got more than him and he disappeared – though have you heard what his nephew is doing in Mumbai schools cricket…?). And it was the test that prior proved he couldn’t bat or keep. “I will not have him in my test team” said a friend. And we all stood and applauded Sachin playing ‘his last test in England’ when he’ll probably play 9 more. But you should always stand and applaud Sachin. Except at the Wankhede where you should stand on your chair and dance to Sachin. Do i win the stuff?

  4. I am really enjoying this competition, sitting on Daisy’s patio, drinking a Cobra beer and contemplating flying Jet Airlines…

…oh no, I’m a hijack marketing campaign – and unpaid for those efforts to boot…
