This is the Lancashire ticket website.
As far as the 2019 Cricket World Cup goes, tickets sold incredibly quickly. The ICC will be launching an official resale site, but in the meantime you can buy tickets here.
Old Trafford Cricket Ground is home to Lancashire County Cricket Club and is located in South Manchester. Founded in 1864, its current capacity is 15,000, although this expands to 22,000 through the addition of temporary seating for Test matches, ODIs and Twenty20 internationals.
Old Trafford was the second Test ground in England and has seen some significant matches in the years since. It is estimated that 30,000 fans were locked out of the ground for the fifth day of the 2005 Ashes Test. Tickets were not sold in advance and so huge numbers had turned up in anticipation of an England victory. The match finished as a draw with England needing just one wicket.
It was also at Old Trafford Cricket Ground where Jim Laker became the first man to take all 10 wickets in a Test innings in 1956, finishing with 19 wickets in the match.
The pitch is among the hardest in England and is also considered the most conducive to spin bowling, meaning fast bowlers and spinners have profited in Manchester in recent years.
