Hey, go easy JB. We had recent correspondence on this site (comment-writer Alex will attest) that I was very poorly served at school in the matter of learning how to play cricket, although I did learn how to take blows to the head from the so-called cricket teacher whose method was to clip you around the ear and tell you that you were useless.

I was utterly clueless on how to play in the 1980s; I just loved the game.

A few hours of tutelage at the Lord’s indoor academy in the early 2000s was enough to bring on some significant improvement – the following from 2005:

I use what they call an ad blocker, I think they block ads. I think the one I use is called ‘Ad Blocker’.

They help to remove the Ads that tell you what you may need in 40 years time. They also remove any other ads as well.
