I had the ‘pleasure’ of reading The Atrocity Exhibition at my book club recently. My main takeaway is that Ballard ‘appreciated’ car crashes a bit too much.

It’s the ‘originality’ that gets me.

Surely originality is not high up on the list of traits you want someone burying a sheep to exhibit, most of the time you’d want them to bury the sheep as traditionally and predictably as possible.
