Most of us were dreaming of electric sheep while you were self-congratulating in our early hours, DC.

Either that or following the test match.

Good grief!

Talk about thick and fast.

I mean the series/tournaments, not the Aussie pace bowlers…well, them too, frankly.

Is a fifty from Dom Sibley sufficient, AP? Surprisingly unfucked considering.

No, it’s just that the FOLLOWING World T20 was scheduled for then – the one that’s now taking place in 2022.

I thought the World T20 was originally scheduled for late 2020, KC. Have you updated your 2018 piece in retrospect:

If so, that part of the article should be consigned to…

Agree. There is already pressure for them to play “their best team” but that is only sure to mean a doubly weakened side for some later match.

Worth pointing out that this terrible schedule was largely in place before coronavirus.

Agreed, Balladeer, even with 8 down, Root’s presence allowed the idea of getting somewhere close to Sri Lanka’s total to seem, of not likely, at least possible.

I’d settle for a 50 partnership between Leach and Anderson though…
