In reply to A P Webster. I am getting tired of the argument to get new countries into the cricketing fold. While this certainly seems a good thing in general, ICC has done a shoddy job of retaining the countries that are already playing the sport and making sure they have an infrastructure that promotes growth of the game locally. WI is shite, Zimbabwe is non-existent, we don't hear from Kenya and Ireland anymore....

Cricket reportedly ‘very likely’ to feature in the 2028 and 2032 Olympics.

Does anyone else here think Jimmy’s insistence that he has no plans to retire is, for want of a better phrase, utter spin?

Would anyone be remotely shocked if he called it a day after this game?

I always found Tony Grieg reassuringly sure of himself in such matters. Is it too much to ask? Someone of that ilk?
