It is a phenomenal number of wickets for a spinner at Headingley, though.

I think there have only been five England fivefers there in my living memory – two of those being Leach in this match.

Also to say that Leach looked genuinely threatening throughout this match. Top performance.

He seems to have taken a large collection of spawny wickets in this test, from the rebound-off-the-non-striker to the inter-bollock catch by Billings, with a sprinkling of boundary catches.

It reminds me a bit of what made Adil Rashid start taking piles of jammy wickets in ODIs once he suddenly had a lot more runs to defend though. The team makes their own jam, so to speak.
