Why would you do that?

Ged, I’m not sure what you mean about cricket-like substances. At no point do I mention grasshoppers.

Webster, I took a visiting German to a T20 game last year. He was doing rather well with the rules and so on…until we told him how, if it started raining, the game would have to stop. He just shook his head confusedly.

Brilliantly, it was impossible to see the video screen or scoreboard from our seats.

Also, might I suggest that there is a remarkably large amount of cricket-like substances within the text considering that there was no cricket.

I’ll wager my hangover was probably worse than Mahinda’s.

On a side note -it’s an interesting mindset that makes people prefer to sit in ‘their’ seats with their umbrellas up, rather than heading for the many areas where it isn’t raining.

Thanks for inadvertently bringing that to our attention, Ceci.
